The best ice cream i've had in NYC. I would have to say that I don't think it's worth an hour wait. Red flag flavor had a nice strawberry swirl to it and loved the graham crunch. All ice cream is super creamy and the panna on top is delish

After seeing that Caffe Panna was the #1 rated ice cream shop in the city on Beli, I knew I had to try it. My boyfriend and I arrived half an hour before it opened on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised to find a couple people already waiting in line. They started taking orders a couple minutes before the official opening time and the line moved pretty quickly. The ice cream is served outdoors and changing menus are posted on the windows. We each got two scoops and my boyfriend got the chocolate sprinkles and I got a raspberry hazelnut ice cream! Most of the sprinkles were on the bottom of the ice cream rather than the top and for mine, I enjoyed the incorporation of raspberry into the hazelnut ice cream. There were actual nuts throughout my ice cream which I personally did not enjoy, but other than that, I loved the ice cream! Overall, I do think that Caffe Panna is a bit overhyped, but I really did enjoying visiting and the unique flavors. I would recommend coming early if possible and trying it out if you're in the area!

This place always has a line wrapping around the corner and we always end up waiting around 45 min but it's so worth it. We usually come too late (usually post dinner) and the specialty flavors are sold out. We've only tried their classic flavors and all the ones we've tried so far are still amazing. Even their regular vanilla is ridiculously tasty. The panna on top is so creamy and the perfect match with their ice cream. Our favorite so far is the stracciatella. Looking forward to trying more flavors

Ok the second visit, I was a bit underwhelmed by the orange marscapone and sour cream cherry flavors. The sour cream and marscapone came through subtly, but there wasn't enough fruit for my preferences, especially when it was so hot out. The service was still quick given we came before the rush. As a note, there is no seating here, it's all grab and go.

I'm not a fan of specialty ice creams. But this was AMAZING! I even dare say the best in the city! Listen, grab some food beforehand. Use the bathroom. Bring a friend. And enjoy some great conversation because there is a wait. But worth the wait!

This place is amazing. I went with a group of people on a Saturday at about 5:15 pm. The line wasn't too bad, but the only downside about being so late is that there were some flavors they were sold out of. I got red flag which is sweet cream ice cream, strawberry swirl, graham crunch and had it topped with chocolate sauce and Oreo crumbs. It was delicious, so creamy. I will definitely be back frequently to try more flavors.

Cafe Panna serves some of the best ice cream in New York City! Every scoop is rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, making it worth every minute of the wait. The creative and delicious combinations they offer are simply unparalleled. What makes the experience even better is the staff. They are incredibly nice and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The long lines outside are a testament to how popular and worth it Cafe Panna is. Each visit feels like a special treat, and I can't recommend it enough for any ice cream lover. This place is a true NYC treasure!

A group of us stopped by on Friday evening at around 8 PM for some ice cream since it's been hyped up a lot by a couple of my friends. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes in line, but unfortunately, the were already out of most flavors! SCOOP: CAFFE BIANCO STRACCIATELLA Each scoop comes with a topping and drizzle, so I got some graham crackers and olive oil. This particular ice cream flavor is made with cold-steeped coffee bean with chocolate and hints of raspberry? Anyway, the ice cream was super smooth and creamy. I personally wouldn't add the topping or drizzle next time because it was a bit too distracting. Overall, solid scoop and I can see the hype!

*Purple Sweet Potato Pie The sweet potato ice cream was mashed with crushed cinnamon crunch and marshmallow swirl. Maple syrup was added to give a touch of subtle sweetness. It was rich in textures and depth of flavors. I topped my ice cream with panna cotta, fudge and graham crunch (all for free!). Their creamy panna cotta is always spot-on. $5.99 for a tiny scoop of ice cream with free panna cotta, drizzle and toppings is an incredible deal in NYC. The portion is just right for one serving. ***No sampling, but trust me it's worth the risk.
